l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two solutions – Sony XBR85X850D vs LG 65LF6300. A noticeable difference when comparing the two models is the screen size, which is 85 inches for the XBR85X850D and 65 inches for the 65LF6300. The XBR85X850D from series X850D, but the opponent belongs to series LF6300. The series Sony XBR85X850D has 55, 65, 75, 85 inches diagonals, but in the case of 65LF6300 only 40, 43, 49, 55, 60, 65 diagonals are possible.

Display

The 4K/UHD video playback is implemented only in XBR85X850D. Rivals work well with Full HD video. The screen of these devices is based on the IPS display. The XBR85X850D screen has 120 refresh rate, versus the 60 refresh rate in the 65LF6300. Unfortunately, none of the devices supports 3D video playback.

Audio

Both units work well with stereo audio format. The power of the speakers on rivals is equal. None of the TVs in this comparison have Dolby Atmos support.

Dimensions

The Sony XBR85X850D has a width of 191.7/75.47 cm/in, compared with a width of 146.1/57.51 cm/in for LG 65LF6300. The Sony XBR85X850D has a height of 110.9/43.66 cm/in, compared with a height of 84.8/33.38 cm/in for LG 65LF6300. The Sony XBR85X850D has a depth of 7.3/2.87 cm/inches, compared with a depth of 5.84/2.29 cm/in for LG 65LF6300.

Connections

The XBR85X850D can operate 4 HDMI connectors, whille the 65LF6300 has 3 HDMIs. It is possible to connect up to 3 USB devices simultaneously to each TVs. Models in this comparison have Internet access via Wi-Fi. Also, in addition to the remote control, you can connect a mouse and keyboard to both TVs via Bluetooth.

Ergonomics

VESA wall mount options are different and are 400 x 300 vs 300 x 300, respectively considered model.

Streaming

Users can watch Netflix movies and series on these TVs. It is possible to watch content from Hulu streaming service on these compared models.

Features

Each compared model can be positioned by manufacturers as Smart TV. The Local Dimming feature is not supported by the display type of both models. And because of this, it is possible to control any of these TVs by voice. The compared devices do not have Amazon Alexa. Besides, each manufacturer provides a mobile application to monitor each of rivals TVs.
